Presenter Guidelines

Academic papers

These guidelines have been created to support academics who will present their academic papers at the Forum.

Please read the guidelines carefully and contact us if you have any additional questions.


General Instructions:

Each presenter will have a total time slot of 20 minutes, which includes 10 minutes for the presentation itself and 10 minutes for questions from the audience and transitioning to the next presenter. It is crucial for all presenters to be punctual and prepared as the schedule is tightly managed. Introductions by the moderator will be brief to ensure the sessions run on time.


Presentation Slide Requirements:

If you are delivering an oral presentation, please include both ACEEU and Management and Science University (MSU) logos in your presentation slides. Ensure your slides are uploaded as per the provided instructions on the day of your presentation. Save your file using the format: [presentation number]_[presentation title].

Technical Requirements for PowerPoint Presentations:

  • Use 16:9 ratio (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) for PowerPoint presentations.

  • Embed videos directly into the PowerPoint; do not use external links like YouTube.

  • Ensure fonts are at least 20 points for readability.



Technical Requirements for Videos:

  • Format: .mp4 preferred, or other common formats.

  • Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, frame rate 25 or 50 fps, bitrate around 10,000 kb/s.

  • Compression: H.264.



Technical Requirements for Audio:

  • Resolution: 16-bit

  • Bitrate: 192–320 kb/s.

  • Sample Frequency: 44.1 kHz.



Technical Requirements for Graphics and Images:

  • Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 pixels for full-screen display.

  • Formats: .png for images not embedded in PowerPoint, and .png/.jpeg for images embedded in PowerPoint.



Each session will be moderated by a designated session chair. Presenters are expected to introduce themselves to the session chairs before the start of their session to facilitate smooth proceedings.
